A. The Steering Committee is a group of 5-25 persons who direct and manage the organization.
Q. Pride and Progress has sub-committees; what are they?
A. Sub-committees conduct the business of the organization:
- Support the Youth Challenge Academy
- Promote new business for various areas
- Promote litter control locally and statewide
- Support the Wildflower tag for gateway and highway beautification
- Continue the business and financial training program in the school system
- Continue the recognition program for outstanding students in the school system
- Conduct political forums
- Support and promote existing recreational centers
- Continue the recognition program for existing businesses, groups, persons or organizations.

A. The purpose and mission of the organization is to improve the overall living condition, the business climate, and the educational and recreational systems in south Augusta-Richmond County, in a manner that benefits the entire city-county.

A. No, the organization is non-partisan.
Q. Are there membership dues?
A. No. Pride and Progress is made up entirely of volunteers.

A. Meetings are held monthly the last Tuesday of each month at 7 P.M.
